Kennedy Technology Group makes a number of audio interfaces for tying various audio devices into motorcycle stereo or intercom systems. 

Music devices include MP3 players or satellite radio receivers.  Some GPS receivers have MP3 capabilities, and if you wish to use the MP3 feature on those devices you should connect them as a Music device rather than an Alert device.

Alert devices are radar detectors, or GPS receivers with voice prompts.  Some GPS receivers also have MP3 players or satellite radio audio.  If the music features of these GPS receivers won't be used, they can be connected as Alert devices - but if you'll be using them for music as well as GPS audio, connect them as Music devices.

Auxiliary Input on a motorcycle or audio system is the input provided for connecting an external music source.  Either Music or Alert devices can be connected via the Auxiliary input, which can be beneficial if you don't have a helmet headset and want to hear everything through the fairing speakers.  A limitation of using Alert devices through the auxiliary input is that the alert audio will only be heard if the stereo is set to the Auxiliary input - if you're listening to a built-in music source such as AM/FM or a built-in CD player, you won't hear the alert audio.  All Auxiliary Input interfaces include "ground loop isolation", which eliminates electronic noise.

Intercom input allows alert devices to be tied into the bike's rider-to-passenger intercom system.  Only alert devices can be connected this way - the intercom circuit is not suitable for music.  The advantage of connecting alert devices to the intercom is that you will hear them no matter what music input is selected (AM/FM, CD, or auxiliary), or even if no music input is selected at all.  However, a helmet headset is required - intercom input can't be directed to the fairing speakers.

Choose from the list of audio interfaces below.  Each of these is a "modular" system, requiring selection of components based on the bike and devices that will be connected.

SingleSet  Allows one Alert device (radar or GPS voice prompts) to connect to the Intercom input 
DualSet  Allows two Alert devices (radar and GPS voice prompts) to connect to the Intercom input 
IsoSet2  Allows one Music device (MP3, satellite radio, etc.) to connect to the Auxiliary input 
AuxSet2  Allows one Alert device (radar or GPS voice prompts) to connect to the Auxiliary input 
AuxSwitchSet2  Allows two Music devices to connect to the Auxiliary input 
AuxSwitchADSet  Allows one or two Music devices, plus one Alert device to be connected to an auxiliary input. 
CellSet MC/SP4  Connects a Cell Phone to the motorcycle's intercom system. This allows both rider & passenger to make or receive calls while riding using your bike's intercom helmet headsets. 
CellSet MC/BT2  The CellSet Bluetooth model allows a Bluetooth adapter to hook into the intercom on your bike. Your Bluetooth cell phone communicates wirelessly with the adapter, so that you and your passenger can make and receive calls while riding. Includes charging circuit for the supported Bluetooth adapters. 
CellSet MC/ICS-MIC  Allows a combo GPS/Bluetooth device (e.g. Garmin 2820 or Zumo 550) to be connected through the Intercom on the motorcycle, including ability to conduct phone calls using the existing intercom helmet headset. Not recommended if using the combo device as a music source also, see MC/GPS2 or MC/GPS AUX/MIC if you wish to use the combo device as a music source.

Important Note: This configuration assumes that you are connecting the Combo Device and no other alert or music devices. If you want to connect the combo device AND another music device (satellite radio, MP3, etc.) or alert device (radar detector), the configuration will change. CellSet MC/AUX-MIC  Allows a combo GPS/Music/Bluetooth device (e.g. Garmin 2820 or Zumo 550) to be connected through the Auxiliary input on the motorcycle, but also permits phone calls to be conducted using the existing intercom helmet headset.

Important Note: This configuration assumes that you are connecting the Combo Device and no other alert or music devices. If you want to connect the combo device AND another music device (satellite radio, MP3, etc.) or alert device (radar detector), the configuration will change. Contact us with your specific needs and we'll set up a package for you. 

CellSet MC/3  Allows a combo GPS/Music/Bluetooth device (e.g. Garmin 2820 or Zumo 550) to connect to both the Auxiliary Input AND the Intercom, using an external switch. This allows music to be heard from the combo device through the auxiliary input, but still permits voice prompts & phone calls through the intercom if listening to AM/FM/CD.

Important Note: This configuration assumes that you are connecting the Combo Device and no other alert or music devices. If you want to connect the combo device AND another music device (satellite radio, MP3, etc.) or alert device (radar detector), the configuration will change. CellSet MC/AUX-ICS  Allows a combo GPS/Music device (e.g. Garmin 2730, Zumo 450, Lowrance iWay 500C, etc.) to connect to both the Auxiliary Input AND the Intercom, using an external switch. This allows music to be heard from the combo device through the auxiliary input, but still permits voice prompts through the intercom if listening to AM/FM/CD.

Important Note: This configuration assumes that you are connecting the Combo Device and no other alert or music devices. If you want to connect the combo device AND another music device (satellite radio, MP3, etc.) or alert device (radar detector), the configuration will change. CellSet MC/Harley 2006+  Allows a combo GPS/Music/Bluetooth device (e.g. a Garmin Zumo 550) and an optional Alert device (e.g. Radar Detector) to be connected to a Harley-Davidson motorcycle with factory stereo and intercom (1998-present Ultra models). All functions (Music, Cell, GPS prompts, and Alert audio) will come through the intercom headsets. The Aux Input is not used and is still available for MP3 or other external audio.

Important note: This product requires disassembly of a multi-pin connector, and applying heat-shrink tubing to wires. If you are not comfortable with this type of work, we recommend that you have this product professionally installed. 

CellSet MC/Harley 1998-2005  Allows a combo GPS/Music/Bluetooth device (e.g. a Garmin Zumo 550) and an optional Alert device (e.g. Radar Detector) to be connected to a Harley-Davidson motorcycle with factory stereo and intercom (1998-present Ultra models). All functions (Music, Cell, GPS prompts, and Alert audio) will come through the intercom headsets. The Aux Input is not used and is still available for MP3 or other external audio.

Important note: This product requires disassembly of a multi-pin connector, and applying heat-shrink tubing to wires. If you are not comfortable with this type of work, we recommend that you have this product professionally installed. 

CellSet Harley MC/MIC  Allows a combo GPS/Music/Bluetooth device (e.g. Garmin 2820 or Zumo 550) to be connected through the Auxiliary Input on a H/D Ultra Classic motorcycle (1998-present models), including ability to conduct phone calls using the existing intercom helmet headset.

Important Note: This configuration assumes that you are connecting the Combo Device and no other alert or music devices. If you want to connect the combo device AND another music device (satellite radio, MP3, etc.) or alert device (radar detector), the configuration will change. CellSet MC/MIC  Connects the Mic circuit in a Bluetooth GPS (e.g. Garmin 2820/Zumo 550) to the motorcycle's intercom. This is an add-on module - it is to be used for a bike where the audio from the GPS is already hooked up, and you just want to enable the Bluetooth features. Common uses include users upgrading from a non-Bluetooth GPS to a Bluetooth GPS of the same wiring style (e.g. if a 2610 is already wired and you buy a 2820, you can re-use all the 2610 wiring and add this to enable Bluetooth). 
CellSet MC/3 Plus AuxSwitchSet2  This is a combination of the CellSet MC/GPS3 and the AuxSwitchSet2. It allows a multi-function (GPS/Music or GPS/Music/Cell) device and a 2nd audio device (iPod, external Satellite Radio, etc.) to be connected at the same time. If you're listening to the external music device, GPS voice prompts or phone calls (if so equipped) will interrupt that music automatically. 
AuxAmpSet  Allows a single stereo or multi-function device directly to a 5-pin headset. Additional devices may be added using the AuxSwitchSet or AuxSwitchADSet in conjunction with the AuxAmpSet. 
GPSSwitchSet  Permits a multi-function GPS to be switched between a KTG Intercom interface and an auxiliary music input on the bike Typical application would be a GPS wired to a CellSet MC/GPS-ICS/MIC and the user wants to be able to switch it to also run through the Auxiliary input on the bike. This assumes that you already have a KTG Intercom interface installed on the bike. If you do not, look at our CellSet MC/GPS3 packages instead; the GPSSwitchSet added to a KTG intercom interface gives the same functions as the CellSet MC/GPS3. 
Combo Kit for J&M CMXB-GL18  This kit contains all the parts for our Combo kit for the J&M CMXB-GL18 except the stereo input harness and the switch. This allows the kit to be customized for a specific use.
