#1 - Can I use the Helmet Guardian if I put Echo buckles on my helmet?
Yes, if you don't remove both of the D-rings. Leave one D-ring in place for use with the Guardian.

#2 - What is the Security Hardware? Do I have to use it?
The Guardian includes "security screws" that have a special sized head on them that can't be easily removed without the included screwdriver bit. You don't have to use these, if you have decorative screws (such as with a BackOFF license frame) you can simply fasten the Guardian under your existing screws.

#3 - Can the Guardian be used on a BMW K1200LT?
Yes. Some riders find that it works best on the K1200LT when fastened to the bottom license plate screws (instead of the top as on most other bikes).

#4 - Can I use the Helmet Guardian with a Schuberth (or other buckle-equipped) helmet?
Many helmet buckles (including the Schuberth) are large enough to work with the Guardian. Simply open the Guardian lock, lay the strap behind the buckle down into the lock, and snap the Guardian shut. The buckle is too large to allow it to be pulled through the lock.
